YOU KNOW THOSE little straws (pixy stick style) of honey they sell at the check out counter at Sprouts and Whole Foods? I got one for Shelby today on our way out and this is how it went...
Getting in the car, I just bit the top off for her:
Me: "Sweetyheart girl, you have to suck on it, not bite it (like mommy did) to get the honey out, like this" (I demonstrate using a pen).
Shelby: (Trying proudly what I just showed her)"mommy...I SUCK!"
Me: (Laughing hysterically) "No 'honey', you don't suck"
